Powertec as an overall company specialises in the supply, maintenance and servicing support of rotating equipment, but each product group requires its own skillset and so we have various divisions within the company focussing on specific products such as diesel engines, gensets, submersible pumps, valves, fans and motor rewinds. Engineers from these divisions work together on issues requiring multiple skills, giving us a wide breadth of experience and knowledge to bring to our clients. And while we have the skills to deal with electrical and mechanical issues on an industrial scale, we also cover a multitude of tasks in commercial plumbing, including pipe work, equipment removal and reinstallation, tankering and jetting facilities, even blocked drains. Our Guarantee

We offer a six to twelve months parts and labour warranty on all works completed and equipment supplied. Extended warranties are available dependent on equipment and applications.

Health & Safety

All our employees are Health and Safety conscious and trained in Risk Assessments and Method Statements, with competency training in all aspects of their work schedules, and records kept on the skill matrix. Toolbox talks are completed and recorded on a regular basis.

Accreditation

We achieved ISO 9001/2000 in 2014. We operate a fully computerised system, which allows access to present and historical information regarding site-specific equipment and asset registers. We are currently being accredited to a professional safety body, which will in turn audit our current work practices and issue an accreditation certificate.

The Safecontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors. Our qualified auditors take into consideration your profession, industry sector and business size, providing tailored safety audits that help us to identify whether there is suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance within your business.

Being Safecontractor accredited reduces the need to submit multiple health and safety questionnaires to clients, therefore saving, both client and us, valuable time.
