We have a 'get it right first time' policy and hold regular Quality meetings between Directors, Managers and personnel. We are never content to sit back and admire our own work, but instead continually look to improve our work practices and time scales.
David Newman
Managing Director
Powertec Pumps was started in 2004 by David Newman.
David has spent all of his working life within the pump industry and has gained unparalleled knowledge within the sector. Back in 2004, David seized the opportunity to start a company offering a service to levels not previously seen in the industry. He currently works in the business overseeing the overall running of the company on a day to day basis, and is proud to have managed Powertec Pumps to become the thriving company it is today.
Ross Newman
Financial Director
Ross has spent over 9 years working at Powertec Pumps, including time in each of the departments, which gained him a thorough knowledge of the company and valuable business acumen. He finally moved to his current position in the financial department nearly 4 years ago.
Ross initially trained in accounting from leaving fulltime education and has been greatly involved in the development of the business.
Luke Haynes
Technical Manager
Luke has been with the company since 2006 and has progressed from engineer to his current position as Technical Manager.
Luke has spent all of his working life within engineering and has gained many accreditations to his name. His knowledge and skills have been proven time and time again whenever he offers his superior engineering advice and support to our many customers.
Mark Spiers
Operations Manager
Mark has been in the service engineering industry for the majority of his working life and has great understanding of the business and the importance of customer satisfaction. He previously held roles from engineer through to management positions before bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to Powertec.
Jon Colins
Generator Specialist
Jon has worked in mechanical electrical engineering all of his working career. He has a wealth of knowledge within the generator industry, provides our customers with the level of advice and support that comes from having a true specialist knowledge, and is currently one of our senior engineers within the business.
Paul May
Workshop Manager
Paul has worked for Powertec for 2 years and has worked in the pump industry for 20 + years. He has unparalleled knowledge in pump refurbishment, engineering and applications. He constantly strives for attention to detail and quality of his workmanship.
Bob Walker
Senior Quotation Engineer
Bob brings over 20 years’ experience gained in the critical power industry and a broad range of knowledge with regards generator and fire sprinkler systems and associated plant. His experience has allowed him to build good customer relationships and trust within the industry and a commercial aptitude in understanding the requirements of the client.
